Ground Control Lacrosse Terms & Conditions

You represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to register yourself (if eighteen [18] years of age or older) or your child(ren) for this program, including full authority to make use of the credit or debit card to which registration fees will be charged. By proceeding with this registration, you agree that the terms of this Registration Agreement shall apply equally to you and to any third parties for whom you are acting as agent.

WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

You are fully aware of and appreciate the risks, including the risk of catastrophic injury, paralysis and even death, as well as other damages and losses, associated with participation in lacrosse. You further agree on behalf of yourself, your heirs, and personal representatives, that Ground Control Lacrosse Club, the host organization, and sponsors, along with the coaches, volunteers, employees, agents, officers and directors of these organizations, shall not be liable for any injury, loss of life or other loss or damage occurring as a result of participation in the event, or as a result of equipment that may have been provided for these activities.

MEDICAL ATTENTION:

You hereby give your consent to Ground Control Lacrosse Club and the host organization of any Ground Control Lacrosse Club related event to provide, through a medical staff of its choice, customary medical/athletic training attention, transportation and/or emergency medical services as warranted in the course of registrant’s participation.

READINESS TO COMPETE:

Registrant will only participate in those competitions for which you and the registrant believe the registrant is physically and psychologically prepared to compete.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

You agree to abide by the rules of the program for which you are registering, and its affiliated organizations and sponsors, especially with regard to your responsibilities as a player, parent and/or spectator. Compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). You represent and warrant that, in compliance with COPPA, you are over thirteen (13) years of age, and that if you are registering a child under fourteen (14) years of age you are the parent or legal guardian of such child, and do hereby consent to the collection of such child’s personal information. You further agree that PARTICIPANT’S photographs, pictures, slides, and movies taken or made by Ground Control Lacrosse Club in connection with PARTICIPANT’S involvement with the EVENT, or any reproduction of the same, as well as PARTICIPANT’S name, may in any manner be used by Ground Control Lacrosse Club, or by any person, corporation, or association authorized by Ground Control Lacrosse Club. Ground Control Lacrosse Club, is not responsible for your data errors or omissions, or from errors caused by such errors or omissions. You agree to indemnify and hold the officers and employees of Ground Control Lacrosse Club, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of our site or the violation of any part of this Liability Waiver or Terms of Service.

Severability.

If any provision of this Liability Waiver shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Liability Waiver and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

REFUND POLICY:

It is Ground Control Lacrosse Club’s policy that merchandise, registration and team fees are final and non-refundable. The club will not refund any portion of your tryout or registration fee for any reason. The Club registers each player to fill a specific spot on the clubs roster and since these spots are limited, it is up to the player/parent to make the commitment to participate. In addition, the information that is posted regarding which tournaments/practices/clinics we will participate in and the associated dates are not finalized at the time of registration. Therefore, changes or elimination of any tournament or practice/practices/clinics dates may be necessary and will not be a cause for a credit or refund.
